Smeagol: The Tale of Gollum’s Prisoner

He did indeed used to fish. His hands land on a bright ring in the sand at the lake’s bottom as his brother Deagol is dragged into the water by the baited fish. It is in his hands as he moves.

Standing behind him, Smeagol is immediately struck by its beauty. He requests that Deagol give him the ring.

Should he not, Smeagol kills him. We watch how Smeagol evolved into Gollum throughout time as he clutches it in his hands.

After killing his brother, Smeagol was shunned by the town, and he withered away in the darkness of the dungeons, eventually evolving into this gangrel beast.

Health problems for Frodo and Rohan’s victory

Frodo can’t fall asleep anymore. Smeagol advances them. Sam divides out the food for the trip home, as Frodo watches that option go away minute by minute.

When Gandalf and the others arrive in Isengard, Treebeard has already taken control.

Saruman, who is now powerless, is imprisoned inside the tower. Pippin spots his Palantir that Gandalf hastily takes beneath his cloak. Rohan residents Theoden and go back to their homes.

In remembrance of the dead, they consume alcohol and feast. Eowyn is intrigued by Aragorn. She treats him like a potential husband.

Smeagol is persuaded to kill the Hobbits by Gollum. They talk about “she,” who is constantly ravenous and will devour the Hobbits as soon as they enter the tunnel.

In the midst of Gollum’s babbling, Sam awakens. Frodo stops him from jumping on him. He still requires Gollum’s guidance. Sam reluctantly consents but is cautious about Smeagol’s upcoming manoeuvre.

Pippin removes Saruman’s Palantir at night and examines it. He is growled at and tormented by The Eye in Black Speech. He has hypnotised him into paralysis.

Palantir’s depiction of a city on fire

When he returns, Gandalf questions him about what he witnessed. A city on fire is encircled by a dead white tree in the courtyard. Gandalf recognises it as Minas Tirith. Thankfully, Pippin kept his information about Frodo from Sauron.

Pippin’s vision of the Palantir, according to Gandalf, revealed the enemy’s strategy for attacking Minas Tirith. He is concerned about the man’s strength, though.

Rohan must ride to assist as soon as Gondor issues a request for assistance. Theoden is in denial. Why should they, if they didn’t come to aid them? Gondor will be alerted, according to Aragorn.

Gandalf advises him to take a different route, through the river, while keeping an eye out for black ships. Pippin will travel with Gandalf as he delivers the message to Gondor. Now that the enemy believes he has the ring, he will be on the lookout for him.

Arwen sees Aragorn and their kid wearing her Evenstar as she is led away to join the ship. She rides back into Rivendell after making a U-turn. She runs to Elrond and inquires about what he saw.

Death for Arwen and life for her son. She asks her father to re-forge the sword that slashed Sauron’s hand to release the ring. In his insight, Elrond predicts that Arwen would lose the life of Eldar.

As promised, he repairs the sword. The city of kings, Minas Tirith, welcomes Gandalf. The white tree, which Gandalf identifies as the King’s tree, is what Pippin notices. Lord Denethor, Boromir’s father, is the only steward for the kingdom of Gondor.

Gandalf advises him to refrain from speaking to the lord and let him do the talking instead.

Denethor accepts Gandalf’s greeting but is aware that Boromir has passed away. Pippin approaches to inform him that Boromir died defending his kin. He is pushed aside and Denethor is instructed to turn on the beacons and make an aid call by Gandalf.

Both the army’s readiness and the city’s defence must be prepared by him. Gandalf’s scheme is opposed by Denethor, who sees it as a plot to remove him from power and replace him with Aragorn.

As he and Pippin survey the city and the battlefield from where the battle for the earth will be fought, Gandalf dreads the worst possible battle.

Even men, such as mercenaries from the coast and armies of Haradrim from the south, have announced Mordor’s call to arms. The hammer shop in Gondor will suffer the most damage.

Osgiliath is followed by Gondor. Pippin hears from Gandalf about the witch-king of Angmar who stabbed Frodo in Weathertop. No living person is able to kill him, and he will command Sauron’s army.

The illuminated beacons, the Dead City, and Gollum’s nefarious scheme

When Sam, Gollum, and Frodo arrive in the Dead City, Sauron’s army are getting ready to fight. They are led by Gollum to the steps that will take them to Mordor.

The gates open as the witch-king appears, allowing his army to enter. The journey of Frodo starts up the stairs. Gandalf assigns Pippin the duty of illuminating the beacon.

Others react as optimism grows. To the coasts of Osgiliath, the Orcs sail stealthily. Men put up a valiant fight against them, but they are ultimately defeated.

The Nazguls pick off the remaining horsemen in the open as they ride to Minas Tirith. With his white light, Gandalf rescues the day and returns a few. As soon as the beacons are lit, Aragorn hurries to inform Theoden.

The King commands Rohan to respond and prepares his troops. He orders his lieutenants to request more troops.

Eowyn intends to join the conflict and enter battle covertly. When Faramir and Gandalf first meet, he informs them that they are travelling to Morgul Vale.

Sam, Frodo, and Smeagol get it to the summit. To convince Sam that he wants the ring for himself, Smeagol poisons Frodo.

As he commands legions of orcs to prepare for battle, the witch-king sits atop Osgiliath and declares that he will handle the wizard.

In a fit of delirium, Denethor commands Faramir and his troops to retake Osgiliath. He claims that he wanted Faramir to pass away rather than Boromir, which is an act of envy.

Gollum promotes more fights while tossing the last of the bread and blaming Sam for it.

High levels of stress prevail, and the creature’s plan is working. After concluding that Sam wants the ring for himself, Frodo breaks off contact with him.

Sam sobs in support of his pal as he continues with Gollum. To regain Osgiliath, Faramir and his troops carry out Denethor’s suicide mission.

Everyone is aware of how it will end, yet they continue. As soon as the orcs’ arrows lock on their targets, Faramir and his men are dispatched.

The ultimate showdown, Aragorn’s call, and Elrond’s vision

Men have not sufficiently heeded Theoden’s call. Six thousand will not be enough to break Mordor’s lines.

Gimli hears Legolas tell him the story of the door beneath the mountain known as Dimholt. Nobody who has entered has ever left again.

Aragorn is brought out of his trance as Gimli leads him toward the road leading to Dimholt.

A soldier awakens Aragorn and calls him to the king’s tent. When Lord Elrond sees him, he tells him about Arwen’s impending death. Elrond believes they will lose.

He informs them that a second fleet of Corsair ships will launch an assault from a different angle. Unless Aragorn is able to summon the men who live in the mountain, a defeat is inevitable.

The Elendil sword that Elrond reforged is given to Aragorn. He believes the Gondor king will be the one to answer for the cursed men.

Aragorn must answer the call of his destiny. He needs to discover who he really is before continuing to Dimholt.

While getting his mount ready, Aragorn dismisses Eowyn’s feelings for him. Aragorn is accompanied to Dimholt by Legolas and Gimli. Men saw the departure of Aragorn as the end of hope.

Legolas discusses the myth behind these characters. As a result of breaking their commitment to the last Gondor king to assist them in battle, they were cursed.

They were cursed by Isildur to never take a break and to stay in the pitch-black mountain. Aragorn and Legolas enter at the mouth of the entrance, and Gimli is compelled to do so in order to uphold the dwarven name. Theoden and his troops head out to fight.

Aragorn deals with the dead and enlists their assistance in battle. He will remove the curse from them if they comply. The army of Sauron gathered in front of the white city.

They almost completely enclose the field. When Denethor discovers Faramir’s corpse, he loses all faith in humanity and becomes even more dejected.

Denethor is knocked out, and Gandalf assumes control. He commands the men to continue fighting and holding their ground. Nazguls from the skies join the soldiers on the ground.

Frodo begins to question whether Smeagol’s direction is the right one as they approach the tunnel. Smeagol encourages him to enter because that is the only option. Frodo dives in after taking the bait.

Frodo enters the death cave

He directs Frodo directly in front of a huge spider. Galadriel gave Frodo the light of Earendil in the first movie, and he uses it to fend off the spider by blinding it.

While Smeagol makes fun of him from the sidelines, Frodo continues to struggle and narrowly escapes. Smeagol assaults Frodo outside while demanding the Ring.

As Smeagol falls into a pit while attempting to retrieve his prized possession, Frodo declares that he will destroy the ring.

Frodo moves forward by himself while mumbling an apology to Sam for his major error. He is roused from his sleep by the ghost of Galadriel, who urges him to continue.

At Tirith, the conflict continues. The orcs succeed in opening the gate and getting into the city.

The spider sneaks up on Frodo and stings him without his knowledge. She then begins to enfold herself in her web as Samwise and Earendil show around.

He bravely engages the spider in battle and prevails. The poison has paralysed Frodo, who is now motionless in Sam’s arms.

As Sam notices the approaching orcs, the sword becomes blue. Unaware that he is the one carrying the Ring, he hides as the Orcs carry Frodo to the tower. Samwise enters the tower after the orcs.

Arriving to save the day is Rohan

When Pippin discovers that Faramir is not dead, Denethor gets ready for his burial. However, he is dismissed from the event. The Orcs in Tirith have outnumbered the city’s defences.

The horn of the hammerhead echoes from the east as all hope is lost. It is Rohan, who has flocked to the area in great numbers to face the adversary.

As Gandalf is being led to Faramir by Pippin, they defeat the orcs. Faramir is being burned alive as Pippin scales the pire and jumps from the top to his death.

The enormous Oliphaunts with the Haradrim riding on their backs show up just as Theoden’s army gains the upper hand.

Although it is a difficult battle, they persist. As Theoden’s troops successfully fend off the huge beasts, Eowyn displays exceptional bravery. The Nazgul slams Theoden to the ground despite his efforts to rally his troops.

Eowyn bravely leaps in front of him as he commands the beast to feast on Theoden’s flesh. She even cuts off the beast’s head before engaging the witch-king in battle.

The orcs believe that reinforcements from the pirates have come, but Aragorn and his army of the cursed are actually there. Together, Pippin and Eowyn kill the witch-king.

The surviving orcs are vanquished by the cursed army as the soldiers prepare for the most unlikely of victories. With pride for Eowyn, Theoden lies on the ground. He thanks her for saving him and begs her to let him go.

In her embraces, he passes away. As promised, Aragorn frees the cursed men. At Tirith, the conflict is over.

Frodo is saved by Samwise the Brave, a pivotal detour is taken by Gandalf, and Smeagol plays a part

Frodo awakens as the action moves to Sauron’s stronghold. But he is unable to locate the ring. Sam sneaks up behind and rescues Frodo from the orc guard.

Sam says he has it, but Frodo is alone. Sam is briefly controlled by the ring, but the valiant Hobbit regains control and hands over the ring.

To cross the last obstacle on the way to Mordor, the Plains of Gorgoroth, they wear orc guard.

The brave hobbits continue to march while The Eye maintains a strict vigil. The council and Gandalf decide to design a detour for Frodo to pass through.

They put their own lives in danger in order to offer him the best chance—possibly even to themselves. The remainder of Sauron’s army advances to Mordor’s gates to confront the approaching foe.

The Hobbits will soon arrive. The remaining members of Aragorn’s army are gathered before the gates, ready for combat. To find out where the army is, the council moves toward the door.

The gates crack open as they shout for the soldiers. As the Eye detects Frodo on the rocks, his final steps towards Mordor are unsteady. but, as the council intended, loses him and concentrates intently on the gate.

The only chance for survival is Frodo because the men are outnumbered. The vast army of Sauron surrounds them. Sam encourages Frodo by giving a description of the Shire in the spring.

Sam pulls Frodo to the final few steps when he doesn’t reply. The men join Aragorn as he advances to fight for Frodo.

When Sam approaches the threshold, Smeagol suddenly strikes them, and a struggle breaks out between them. Running for the entrance, Frodo.

At the gates, the conflict rages on. Frodo is getting close. He is perched on the edge of the bridge that leads to Mordor’s blazing inferno. He is standing there holding the ring. But he stops.

He declares, “The Ring is mine,” wearing it while wearing it and dissipating. Sam is knocked out by Smeagol, who then attacks Frodo. He grabs the ring while biting his finger since he is so overwhelmed by it.

He joyfully dances around. Gollum falls into the flames carrying the Ring as Frodo stands up. Sam tries to help Frodo up while he clings on to the rocks below. When he does, the ring that had fallen upon the lava melts into the flames.

It is obliterated. The Eye then blows up in the process. The army of Sauron is routed and falls into the dirt pit. They are fully absorbed into the unfathomable pit.

The tower falls, and the evil is vanquished. Everything around Mordor begins to collapse, and Mount Doom also bursts. Both Sam and Frodo succeed.

They celebrate the victory over the enemy but find themselves stuck on a rock while molten lava spreads all around them.

Sam and Frodo often daydream about the Shire and all its great aspects. And just when they had given up all hope, Gandalf’s eagles saved them.
